Team Chad is a group of individuals who are continuing to fight Leukemia in the same passionate way that our friend Chad Welch did before he lost his fight with the disease in June 2007. Our group is comprised of people varying in age and background, some of whom knew Chad and some who did not but who are all committed to finding ways to help those battling this terrible disease.
Team Chad aims to serve those people in our community whose lives are directly affected by Leukemia. In all too many cases, the diagnosis of this terrible disease is a death sentence and at the very least lives are disrupted in a way that is unimaginable to the healthy. Fear, uncertainty, pain, and daunting medical expenses are just a few of the hurdles cancer patients face. The toll for those suffering from Leukemia is immense and it is also heartbreaking for family, friends and loved ones. Chad and his wife Haley felt this suffering and saw the devastation in others and vowed to fight it even as Chad was losing his own battle. Thus, Team Chad was formed to "Continue Chad's Fight Against Cancer". Please explore our website to learn more about Chad's Story and how Team Chad is helping those in our community affected by this terrible disease. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
